  Sarah and her staff at Lee-Ellena were gracious, courteous and kind as they guided us through a very difficult time. Our family wanted a non-traditional set-up for my husband. There was no casket or urn. As we positioned different conversation areas, the staff helped at every move of every piece of furniture. With over 400 people trying to visit our family in a short period of time, the staff helped all those waiting to be comfortable. The atmosphere at Lee-Ellena is that more of a "home" and less of a place of sadness. We were very pleased with every step of our grief process and have suggested their location to others.

  They did a wonderful job, we could not ask for anything more. They told us it was our house for the day. It truly was an wonderful celebration of our Dad's life. Thanks!

  First, if you're looking for funeral homes, I'm very sorry for your families loss. I've lost two people very close to me in a short time and both funerals were held here. They do an amazing job of making this your home for a day or two. The layout is unlike any funeral home I've been to. It's warm, welcoming and comfortable. They have a kids rooms, kitchen and several patios as well as very tidy bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and the funeral director did an amazing job of writing my fathers obituary (I think his name was Josh) as well as walking us through the process. You can give them pictures and they display them throughout the funeral home on many TV's as a slideshow. The kitchen is great and can seat quite a few people comfortably. The best thing I can say is that if you're looking for a place to hold your loved ones funeral, you can stop, this is the place you want.

  Everyone was impressed. Beautiful facility that made everyone feel comfortable and the experience as good as it could possibly be. Tara was wonderful. Highly recommend.

  I had no idea that I would be writing a Funeral Home review this week.
  
  As one of my lifelong buddies since 1964, well his daddy passed away & the viewing was here.
  
  When Lee-Elena Funeral Home , opened around 2008 , I read all of the articles in the Macomb Daily of how it was built with the guests/clients/families in mind.
  
  I also saw countless advertisements as well ,proclaiming the same.
  
  Well I was very impressed!!
  
  I mean this as a very sincere compliment,it reminded me of the Capital Grill.
  
  Inviting foyer, generous hallways, multiple gathering rooms with overstuffed chairs & couches. The cafe/gathering space where you can set up food/desserts/snacks/ beverages.
  
  The Fireplace & the viewing rooms all seemed like an Uncles Lodge Up North.
  
  Plus 2-3 outdoor patios, children's rooms 2 chapels & state-of-the-art wireless, audio and video technology
  
  Heather was the greeter on staff & provided excellent service/skills that reflected a concierge.
  
  I came home tonight,and told the bride, I think I found my final resting place.
  
  Love that the owners set out with a vision, captured & exceeded it!
